Within walking distance of the town of Baden lies the start of the Sooss wine-producing region, a treat not only for wine lovers, but also for lovers of al fresco evenings, with chit-chat, chirping grasshoppers in the summer, cosy corners in the winter, and good food. Sooss town is in the heart of the vineyards, consisting of around 40 individual wine outlets which serve self-produced wine, together with hot and cold food and all at reasonable prices.
